DW618B3:

B3= comes with three bases.. a "D" base, standard fixed base and a plunge router base in the kit. plus a plastic case to hold everything together.

DW618D: with ONLY D-shaped side handle with built in trigger switch with lock-on feature, dust sealed switch , can be set up for right or left hand control

DW618: standard fixed based router for wood The "K" indicates it comes as a "Kit" ie. in a box.. whereas DW618 is JUST the router itself with no accessories or case.

ISSUES:

1. The lock lever on the plunge base does not tend to always stay locked so you may want to experiment with this in use, or at the very least monitor its position.
2. Turret Stop: play in rotating cam may cause inaccuracies when absolute precision is critical
